Ten people were injured in a five-vehicle Riverside car accident that police believe was caused by a teen driver who let her car drift into oncoming traffic. According to a news report in The Press-Enterprise, the injury car accident occurred on Domenigoni Parkway near Hemet the night of December 8, 2010.

Officials say that for unknown reasons, the 17-year-old female driver let her 2002 Honda Civic drift into a dirt median. The Honda veered out of control entering opposing traffic lanes, before crashing into four other vehicles. Ten people sustained injuries including a bruised lung, broken bones and head injuries. Officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a part in this car accident.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone injured in this horrific car accident. I wish them all a complete and speedy recovery from their injuries.
